Sometimes the stars align, and all of the great indie stand up shows fall on the same week. Thankfully, this is that week. Frolic! is back, Red Velvet Comedy is at the Improv Lab, Holy F*ck! is delightful and downtown, and Comedy is Dead takes over the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. Jeez.

MONDAY 2/28
The Smokes, 7p UCB. This NY-transplant improv show just keeps getting bigger and better. Relative newcomer Lennon Parham just blows this show into the stratosphere.
Nikki Lynn Katt, 8p Hotel Café. Katt will be at Hotel Café singing comedy songs that will simultaneously have you smiling, laughing, and wanting to sing along.
TUESDAY 3/1
The Found Footage Festival, 8p Largo. The strangest, most awesome thing you’re likely to see in a while. A night of purely found footage, most of it absolutely amazing.
Holy F*ck!, 9p Downtown Independent. You know the show, so here’s the players: Todd Glass, Lizzy Cooperman, Dave Ross. And that’s just the tip of the ‘berg that sunk the good ship Hilarious.
WEDNESDAY 3/2

Comedy is Dead, 9p Hollywood Forever Cemetery. The latest installment of Comedy is Dead has Natasha Legerro, Nick Thune, Neil Hamburger, Duncan Trussell, and Jeff Garlin, among others. And don’t forget it’s one of the coolest venues for comedy you’ll find in LA.
Rhys Darby, 8p Irvine Improv. Darby is wonderfully charming and funny. Plus, he’ll be in the OC all weekend!
Quartet, 10p iO West. Craig Cackowski, Bob Dassie, Jean Villepique, Stephenie Weir, and Tami Sagher. Who cares if they can’t do math; that’s a lineup worth forgiving.
FRIDAY 3/4
Dead Authors, 6:30p UCB. It’s back, albeit at an awkward time! Paul F. Tompkins raises money for 826LA by bringing along some of his comedy pals to perform as deceased scribes. This month, Andy Richter is Emily Dickinson.

Red Velvet Comedy, 10p Improv Lab. The Red Velvet show is back at the Improv Lab (next to the Hollywood Improv on Melrose). With Ryan Stout, Ali Waller, Matt Besser and more - all for $5 - this one seems like a no-brainer.

Billy Gardell, 9p Ontario Improv. Gardell keeps the momentum going with a stint in Ontario all weekend.
Cedric the Entertainer, 9p Brea Improv. If you’re into ridiculous suits and outlandish stories, Brea is your new weekend home.

Fritz Coleman, 7p Ice House. Yes! The KNBC weatherman does stand up!
The Terrible Twos, 8:30p Improv Lab. Two different sketch teams each put up a half-hour of their best material at the Lab.
