The Lingerie Football League has enjoyed a good run since its founding in 2009. But now, an L.A.-based league of scantily clad basketball players is about to give those nearly nude pigskin-tossers some stiff competition, reports the Huffington Post. The Lingerie Basketball League features, as you may well imagine, women dressed in lingerie playing basketball. According to their website, the league is comprised of "supreme athletes that are tough on their opponents but easy on the eyes."

The league currently boasts four teams, all L.A.-based: LA Beauties, LA Divas, LA Glam and LA Starlets. Stats on the players, also listed on the site, focus on key athletic attributes such as their zodiac sign and bust-waist-hip ratio, with a nod to their scoring statistics at the bottom of their individual pages.

The league kicked off their season with an exhibition game on July 23 on Venice Beach, a video of which is posted on the website. All of their regular season games are double headers, with the next one scheduled for August 5 (venue TBA).
