Juliette & The Licks to play Secret Show at Spaceland

You value independent local news, so become a sustainer today to power our newsroom.

You have exactly one week to bid farewell to Spaceland.

Because next Monday night Juliette and the Licks are gonna blow that mother's face out.

According to her website Myspace blog, the LA native best known for her acting, but totally loved for her rocking, Juliette Lewis will be playing a secret show at the hip Silver Lake club at 9pm on June 11.

This is quite a departure for the band who has been blazing a long and deep trail through Europe over the last few months, most recently from the stages at huge arenas and monster festivals. So expect the wirey songstress to have no problem projecting (as if she ever had those sorts of issues).

Expect a healthy dose of new tunes at the secret show off Juliette & the Licks' forthcoming album Four on the Floor. The album, due out 7/24, was given a rave review by LAist last month.

You come to LAist because you want independent reporting and trustworthy local information. Our newsroom doesn’t answer to shareholders looking to turn a profit. Instead, we answer to you and our connected community. We are free to tell the full truth, to hold power to account without fear or favor, and to follow facts wherever they lead. Right now, LAist has lost $1.7M in annual funding due to Congress clawing back money already approved. The support we receive from readers like you will determine how fully our newsroom can continue informing, serving, and strengthening Southern California.
