Joe Simpson, father of singers Jessica Simpson and Ashlee Simpson, was arrested over the weekend for a DUI in Sherman Oaks. TMZ reports that Simpson, 54 -- who may be best known for commenting on the size of his eldest daughter's breasts -- was pulled over at about 10 p.m. on August 4 on Ventura Blvd.

He was taken into custody and spent the night in jail before being released the following morning.

According to the gossip website, Simpson likely won't spend any more time in jail, but may have to pay a hefty fine.
