Jennifer Lopez Leaves 'American Idol,' Breaks Public's Heart
We hate to say it, but the future of "American Idol" looks grim.
Yesterday, Steven Tyler quit the show, cleverly claiming that the program was his "mistress," but that he now has to get back to his true love, Aerosmith. Today, none other than Jenny from the Block jumped on the bandwagon and also announced her departure.
That's right -- Jennifer Lopez will not be returning to "Idol" as a judge next season. According to TMZ, Lopez told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show this morning that "I honestly feel like the time has come that I have to get back to doing the other things that I do...We had an amazing run."
