James Deen Won 2 'Porn Oscars' Amid Multiple Rape Accusations

Porn actor James Deen won two awards at the Adult Video News Awards in Las Vegas Saturday night amid multiple rape and sexual assault accusations.
In November, adult film star (and Deen's ex) accused Deen of rape on Twitter. Following that allegation, several other women came forward saying that Deen had sexually assaulted them. One woman, actress Holly Jee, told LAist that Deen choked her until she passed out.
At Saturday's AVN Awards, Maxim reports that "uttering the name 'Deen' elicited side-eye and tight lips from performers and publicists alike. No one I encountered wanted to side with him, but no one wanted to publicly bash him, either."
Complex reports Deen was up for 33 awards in total, and won for Best Group Sex Scene, and Best Double Penetration scene.
According to Maxim, when Deen's photo was shown on the monitor as the nominees were read, "no one seemed to cheer for him the way they yelled and clapped for the other performers."
Didn't stop him from enjoying room service chicken.
