I Am Your Father: Legoland Recreates Star Wars
The only thing better than a new installation of Star Wars is a recreation of the franchise using only Legos. And so it was, that LEGOLAND in Carlsbad built such a world.
According to LEGOLAND's website, the theme park has developed a Star Wars miniland that features seven scenes from the six movies, and including planets like Naboo, Geonosis and Christophsis. The scenes also feature characters like Darth Vader, Chewbacca and R2-D2. Development and construction of the project took 13 months, and used 1.5 million Legos (that's 1.3 tons). KNBC reports that the installation will open to the public on March 31.
