Hollywood Bowl's Summer Lineup Announced With Janelle Monáe, Robyn Performing

One year ago, Congress defunded public media. Now that we're 100% community funded, please become a sustaining member or increase your existing membership today.

It may only be February, but that doesn't mean we can't start planning ahead for those awesome outdoor summer concerts at the Hollywood Bowl. The venue released today their summer series lineup with L.A. Philharmonic, Janelle Monáe, Robyn, and Röyksopp on the list. Get ready to drink some wine and prep your picnic baskets for some music under the stars.

Here are some of the highlights from the lineup:

June 22: Janelle Monáe, Seun Kuti & Egypt 80, and Roman GianArthur

June 29: Röyksopp & Robyn (additional artists TBA)

July 2 - July 4: July 4th Fireworks Spectacular with Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers featuring Edie Brickell

July 9: To Ella With Love with the Count Basie Orchestra and special guests Patti Austin, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Yuna, and Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra

July 13: Grease Sing-A-Long

Single tickets go on sale on May 4 at 10 a.m. in-person at the Hollywood Bowl, on the Hollywood Bowl website, Ticketmaster.com, or by phone at (323) 850-2000 or (800) 745-3000. If you are a KCRW subscriber, you can get 20 percent off selected seats as part of their Fringe Benefits program.
