Last week, Gwyneth Paltrow was quoted in an interview with Harper's Bazaar saying what everyone else is thinking: That she doesn't want to get too much Botox because she doesn't want to wind up looking like Joan Rivers:

"I would be scared to go under the knife, but you know, talk to me when I'm 50. I'll try anything. Except I won't do Botox again, because I looked crazy. I looked like Joan Rivers!"

Anyone who's ever seen Rivers' face knows that Gwyn makes a fair point, but needless to say Rivers herself was less than amused. She responded today by getting in touch with People.com and providing a quote of her own for Paltrow:

“It just made me laugh. She says Botox made her scary like Joan Rivers? She should see what I look like without Botox. That’s really scary!”
