2010 is bringing about some good prospects, including deals to bring you entertainment all year long.

The Roxy in West Hollywood yesterday launched Club Rox, a new limited $100 program that gets you into any show at The Roxy and the upstairs On the Rox as long as they are not a private event or a non-ticketed show. "This is our way of showing our appreciation for all of our loyal customers and new patrons we’ve met this past year," the venue's blog explained. The membership also gets cardholders front of the line access, plus-one and VIP privileges for some shows and other perks.

Also new to the season pass concept this year is the Derby Dolls, who are offering six different packages to games in 2010. The top package goes for $145, where you get regular tickets to all nine of 2010 games (it'll be $320 if you want to make it VIP). Tickets are transferable (if you can't make it, you can pass it on to a friend) and pass holders get to skip the long lines with the "express door entry" perk.

Both deals, however, expire. The Roxy's membership deal ends December 31st while the Derby Dolls cut season pass sales on January 20th.

You come to LAist because you want independent reporting and trustworthy local information. Our newsroom doesn’t answer to shareholders looking to turn a profit. Instead, we answer to you and our connected community. We are free to tell the full truth, to hold power to account without fear or favor, and to follow facts wherever they lead. Our only loyalty is to our audiences and our mission: to inform, engage, and strengthen our community.

Right now, LAist has lost $1.7M in annual funding due to Congress clawing back money already approved. The support we receive from readers like you will determine how fully our newsroom can continue informing, serving, and strengthening Southern California.
