Get Out: Desert Swap Meet, Mike Kelley 24-Hour Screening
TRADE: Treasure-hunting in the desert! High Desert Test Sites will be hosting "AMY & WENDY YAO'S ART SWAPMEET 2012" in the middle of the Sky Village Swap Meet in Yucca Valley today. They promise "loads of artwork at bargain prices" in "one of the best shopping environments known to mankind," which is sort of hard to argue with. I know that's far, but there's still time for you to make it (if you can afford the gas). The swap meet goes from 8 am until 2 pm at 7028 Theatre Road, Yucca Valley. For more info, visit the High Desert Test Sites.
WATCH: In celebration of the life of the late artist Mike Kelley, there will be a 24-hour screening of his videos at the Farley Building in Eagle Rock from 9pm tonight until 9pm tomorrow. The Farley Building is located at 1669 Colorado Boulevard, Los Angeles. For more information, visit MOCA's site.
