Hats For Bats: Nocturnal? Not today. Born in 1999 of the goth/deathrock/industrial scene, Bats Day In The Park is an outing of and for the highly costumed kind. Picture Mickey ears clipped into bat wings, and so forth. "The annual spooky trip to Disneyland is just a park meet during a normal operating day at Disneyland. Please use discretion regarding the length of shirts and skirts and language on clothing. Be respectful. What you may feel is appropriate dress may not be to the normal park attendee." And what a perfectly grey day!! Get goth'd up and meet at 12:30 p.m. in front of Sleeping Beauty's Castle.

Game On: 20 hometown players representing Los Angeles face off against New York's local bests in Game 1 of the The People's Games today at the Venice Courts (Games 2 & 3 will be in NY). The games are presented in partnership with the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation & Parks. Tip-Off: 3:00 p.m.
