Get Out: Spring And Charlyne Yi At Bob Baker Marionette Theater, Cinderella at the Opera & Triple Feature

PUPPETS: Spring has sprung at The Bob Baker Marionette Theater, which is hosting a show featuring Charlyne Yi and the female folk supergroup The Living Sisters (with Becky Stark of Lavender Diamond, Eleni Mandell and Alex Lilly). The Spring Equinox Extravaganza will include puppet performance, singalongs, short films, clips and cartoons curated by Cinefamily plus some spring snacks and dandelion wine after the show. FILM: One ticket will admit you into three features by the Marx Brothers and W.C. Fields at the New Beverly Cinema. The event begins at 4 pm with Horse Feathers, Duck Soup shows at 5:30 p.m. followed by It's A Gift at 7 p.m. and Horse Feathers screens again at 8:30 p.m. The New Beverly Cinema is located at 7165 Beverly Boulevard in Los Angeles, and tickets can be purchased online here.
OPERA: The Los Angeles Opera presents Cinderella, a modern twist on a fairy tale classic. The tale of this princess has been brought to life due to the powerful vocals of a young cast, and it is being conducted by James Conlon. The matinee is at 2 p.m., and tickets are available online here. More information about the LA Opera can be found via their website. The Dorothy Chandler Pavilion is located at 135 North Grand Avenue in Los Angeles.
