Frank Ocean Wants To Forgive Chris Brown
Frank Ocean changed his mind and said that he's not interested in pressing charges against Chris Brown for allegedly jumping him last week.
Brown allegedly threw a punch at Ocean last week after he refused to shake Brown's hand. Initially Ocean said that he planned to press charges for battery, but Ocean announced that he changed his mind on Tumblr today (the caps are all his):
AS A CHILD I THOUGHT IF SOMEONE JUMPED ME IT WOULD RESULT IN ME MURDERING OR MUTILATING A MAN. BUT AS A MAN I AM NOT A KILLER. I’M AN ARTIST AND A MODERN PERSON. I’LL CHOOSE SANITY. NO CRIMINAL CHARGES. NO CIVIL LAWSUIT. FORGIVENESS, ALBEIT DIFFICULT, IS WISDOM. PEACE, ALBEIT TRITE, IS WHAT I WANT IN MY SHORT LIFE. PEACE.
Brown is still on probation from that one time he assaulted Rihanna before the Grammys in 2009.Related:
