According to Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times, embattled Dodgers' owner Frank McCourt has agreed to sell the Dodgers in an auction in bankruptcy court. Yahoo! Sports Tim Brown also reports the same.

According to Shaikin, the sale will include the team, Dodger Stadium and the land surrounding the Stadium. In essence, everything that McCourt spent $421 million for in 2004.

While it may seem the nightmare is over for Dodger fans, remember that the same thing was uttered when News Corp (aka Fox) sold the team in 2004. Almost eight years later here we are.
