Doc Rivers Is the Clippers New Head Coach, Hopefully
According to multiple reports, the Boston Celtics and the Clippers have reached an agreement sending head coach Doc Rivers to the Clippers.
The Clippers will send the Celtics a first-round pick to compensate for the Celtics releasing Rivers from his contract. Meanwhile the Clippers and Rivers agreed to a three-year, $21 million contract.
The league will need to approve the deal. Earlier in the week, the NBA vetoed a deal that included forward Kevin Garnett going to the Clippers.
