One year ago, Congress defunded public media. Now that we're 100% community funded, please become a sustaining member or increase your existing membership today.

Since passes for both weekends of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival sold out in less than 40 minutes, it's very likely many of you guys didn't score tickets. But, fear not, weep not, Goldenvoice has announced their lineup of Coachella bands playing at local venues in SoCal throughout April.

While you won't get to see the top-billed Coachella headliners like AC/DC or Jack White at these local shows, you're still getting a dose of notable artists in the mix. Some of the highlights include FKA Twigs, Odesza, Tame Impala, Interpol, Caribou, Azealia Banks, Jamie XX, Action Bronson, and MØ, as well as some old favorites like Belle & Sebastian, Jenny Lewis, Built to Spill and Drive Like Jehu. The bands will be playing at different venues including Club Nokia, the Roxy, Fonda, the Echo, Fox Theater, Glasshouse, and even a couple at Pappy & Harriet's in Pioneertown.

Tickets for the shows all go on sale at different times, with some sales launching this Thursday. You can purchase tickets on the Goldenvoice website here.

Here's the poster below with the scheduled line-up. You can view a larger version of it on the Goldenvoice Facebook page.
