LACO concludes their Westside Connection series this week at the Broad Stage in Santa Monica. Susan Feniger (Border Grill, STREET) will help conclude this three-part series on the relationship between food and music (following previous concerts with Michael Ruhlman and Jonathan Gold). The concert takes place this Thursdayat 7:30 pm, includes Saint-Saëns Fantasie for Violin and Harp, with no intermission. Martinů's La Revue de Cuisine, Jazz Suite H. 161, and Ravel's String Quartet in F Major are all on the program for this evening, you can get tickets hereor at the box office on the day of the concert.

Leila Josefowicz and John Adams join the LA Phil this weekend for Adams' Violin Concerto. Performances are on Thursday, Friday, and Saturdayat 8 PM. It's a nice prelude to the Green Umbrella concert next week (note: John Adams was scheduled to conduct next week, but has been replaced by Jeffrey Milarsky).
