Video: Rapper Explains Why He Cut Off His Penis
Rapper Christ Bearer explained what went on through his mind when he cut off his penis and jumped off of a North Hollywood apartment balcony last April.
In a recent 30-minute interview with VLAD TV, the Long Beach-based rapper, whose real name is Andre Johnson and claims he's affiliated with the Wu-Tang Clan family, says it wasn't a suicide attempt. Johnson says he was high on "[PCP], meth, and molly and alcohol and no sleep. That was the main thing: no sleep."
"I was high as a kite," he adds. "It was more than a mistake."
At the time of the incident, he was at his manager's house, feeling "frustrated" because he was thinking about how the mothers of his three daughters filed restraining orders against him and he couldn't see his kids. He had been reading stories about monks and vasectomies, and at the time was so high he thought he was in a cartoon world because he was watching Family Guy and American Dad on TV. That's when Johnson decided he would give himself a vasectomy, and took a steak knife and cut his penis. He said, "I was watching Family Guy and American Dad, so when you smoke you're in a cartoon world... You in an electron, neutron world."
He then jumped off of the balcony from the two-story apartment building because he thought he was going to die anyway, Johnson says.
Johnson says he's sober now. Although there were reports that surgeons reattached his penis, he says the "reattachment shit is all mythological." However, Johnson says he can still have sex.

He also adds that he's proud of what he did: "I'm the only man ever did what the fuck I did, and I'm proud of it. Why? In the annals of history, I don't think you got anybody who ever did it. That was a flooper, we all done woke up from a flooper. Maybe not a flooper as big as me."
