Cher Shows Up at 'Dancing With The Stars' to Support Chaz

Cher has been standing up for her son Chaz ever since it was announced in August that he was joining the cast of "Dancing With The Stars." And last night, she made a public showing of her support with a surprise visit to the show.
The heart-warming video below features Chaz' performance on last night's episode, and more than a few close-ups of Cher in the audience. Chaz and partner Lacey Schwimmer danced to the "Rocky" theme song, a poignant choice if ever there was one, considering the hatred and bigotry that Chaz, who is transgendered, has gone up against from the show's...um...less-than-open-minded fans. Cher can be seen getting teary-eyed as she watches her son dance, and again as he gets reviewed by the judges.
Before last night, Cher had reportedly denied any plans to make a surprise appearance to the studio.
