Breaking: Kim Kardashian's Baby Might Not Have a 'K' Name

One year ago, Congress defunded public media. Now that we're 100% community funded, please become a sustaining member or increase your existing membership today.

Kim Kardashian and her baby bump took to "The Tonight Show" yesterday to talk to Jay Leno about baby names and Kanye West and whatever other things happen in the life of a Kardashian, and in the course of their dialogue, it was revealed that the baby might not have a "K" name.

Just deal with that for a second.

For future generations of bloggers, that means that writing headlines just got a lot less fun. For us, for now, it just means that a legacy will be ended; a moment in time, gone forever.

Kim says that she and Kanye have a list of names, and some start with a K, and some don't. She also notes that Kanye likes the name North, so that they baby will be North West, and she likes the name Easton, so the baby will be Easton West.

Ohhhh, future baby. We wish you luck with everything.

One year ago, Congress voted to defund public media, eliminating a critical $1.7 million from our budget every year going forward. But they couldn’t silence us, and we’re not going anywhere. LAist is now 100% community funded and that means we’re taking our future into our own hands and turning to you to keep local reporting strong.

You come to LAist because you want independent reporting and trustworthy local information. Our nonprofit newsroom doesn’t answer to shareholders looking to turn a profit. Instead, we answer to you and our communities. We are free to follow facts wherever they lead and to hold power to account without fear or favor. Our only loyalty is to our readers and listeners and our mission: to inform, engage, and strengthen Southern California’s communities.
