Aubrey Plaza to Get Comedy Award
Aubrey Plaza is known for basically redefining the word "deadpan" when it comes to comedic performances, and if you're into that kind of thing, you'll be pleased to hear that she's now receiving accolades for her work thus far: The actress will be the recipient of CinemaCon's Breakthrough Performer of the Year Award.According to The Hollywood Reporter, Plaza will receive the honor at the CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards ceremony on Thursday, April 1 in Las Vegas.
Plaza stars as April Ludgate on the hit TV show "Parks and Recreation." She's a regular performer at Upright Citizens Brigade.
The actress is slated to star alongside Bill Hader and Alia Shawkat in the upcoming film "The To Do List."
