Anne Hathaway Almost Drowned In A Hawaiian Riptide

As if Anne Hathaway's life needed any more drama, the Oscar winner was apparently caught in a rip current and almost drowned in Hawaii. The incident happened yesterday on Oahu where Hathaway was vacationing with her husband, Adam Shulman. According to TMZ (who has pictures from the scene), Hathaway decided to go for a little dip, but didn't anticipate the strong Oahu rip currents sucking her away from shore to a potential watery grave.
But fear not, Hathaway fans! As she screamed for help, a local surfer heroically jumped into the ocean, grabbed Hathaway and pulled her to the shore.
As she was being pulled to dry land by her surfer savior, she cut her toe on a reef and started to bleed. Luckily, her husband was there to suck all those nasty toxins out of her toe, like a true gentleman.
She was out and about later that same day, posing for pictures with fans and taking long walks on the beach with her man.
