Buffy fans: Willow needs your help. According to TMZ, Alyson Hannigan - who is known more recently for her role as Lily on "How I Met Your Mother" - says a man named John Hobbs has been harassing her via social media and on her personal website, posting threatening messages and even death threats.

The 38-year-old actress filed a request for a restraining order against Hobbs in L.A. County Superior Court today, saying that he is "mentally unstable and was recently discharged from a mental hospital."

Hannigan also asked that the protection extend to her husband and kids.

In addition to her roles as Lily and Willow, Hannigan co-starred in the "American Pie" movies, as well as "Veronica Mars" and voiced a character on "American Dad!".
