In anticipation of their move to Pasadena, A Noise Within, a SoCal classical repertory theater company based in Glendale, is cleaning house and purging the property of 19 years worth of scenery, props, costumes, wigs, furniture, lighting, curtains, fabric, seating and more.

A Noise Within explains the reason for the big "garage sale" in a recently-issued press release:

While the Glendale location has been A Noise Within's home for the last 19 years, the company is in the final stretch of a $13.5 million capital campaign for its highly anticipated 33,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art venue in Pasadena, which opens October 29, 2011. Tax deductable donations for the capital campaign are accepted during the Garage Sale.

The dramatic sale of sales takes place August 13 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the company's Brand Boulevard theater, and there is a $2 entrance fee. Cash is preferred for purchase-making, but credit cards will be accepted with a minimum purchase (and subject to a service charge). More details (.pdf).
