Elderly Couple Commit Murder-Suicide In Their Home
A married couple are thought to have committed murder-suicide in their Huntington Park home, and authorities are working to determine cause of death and motive.
The elderly man and wife were discovered Tuesday afternoon when "someone came home," said Sgt. David Cassidy of the Huntington Park Police Department, according to City News Service.
Police believe 72-year-old Adalberto Reyes took the life of his 69-year-old wife, Juana, before taking his own life, however the deaths were not the result of shootings.
The investigation into the murder-suicide is ongoing, and autopsies on the bodies of Mr. and Mrs. Reyes are pending.
