Talk about a sugar crash.

Just after midnight this morning, a car rammed through the front window of Dippity Donuts in Costa Mesa, a favorite closing-time haunt for locals stumbling out of the nearby Goat Hill Tavern.

A few injuries were reported, but nothing serious, according to City News Service. The donut shop actually remained open after the crash, reports said, and no one was immediately arrested.
