Does Dating Suck in L.A.?

We need to hear from you.
Today during our spring member drive, put a dollar value on the trustworthy reporting you rely on all year long. The local news you read here every day is crafted for you, but right now, we need your help to keep it going. In these uncertain times, your support is even more important. We can't hold those in power accountable and uplift voices from the community without your partnership. Thank you.

LA Observed picks up on a HuffPo list of seven reasons why dating is tough in Los Angeles. Of the reasons include a poor sex ratio (too many men), geographically undesirableness (you live in the Valley?), bad traffic (late for dates!), transience ("I just moved here on a whim"), the entertainment industry's egos and busy schedules, 2 a.m. closing of bars and, most interestingly enough, this urban planning stinger: "lack of pedestrian culture reduces opportunities for casual contact." Anything to add to the list?
