David Beckham was involved in a car accident on the 405 Freeway near Torrance on Friday morning when his black Cadillac rear-ended a stalled Mitsubishi that had reportedly broken down in the carpool lane, according to authorities, reports TMZ.

According to the California Highway Patrol, "Beckham did not appear to be injured from the crash, but the other driver was hospitalized," reports the L.A. Times.

The driver of the Mitsubishi, who was reportedly wearing a seatbelt according to TMZ, was taken to Little Company of Mary Medical Center in Torrance as a precaution, reports the L.A. Times. According to TMZ, Beckham's 12-year-old son was also reportedly in the Cadillac at the time of the crash, though that detail has not been confirmed by additional sources.

Neither driver was arrested nor cited at the scene.
