Woman Who Offered Sexual Favors for McNuggets Propositioned Manager, Is Transient Familiar to Police
Khadijah Baseer, the woman who was arrested last week on suspicion of prostitution for offering to perform sexual favors in exchange for Chicken McNuggets at a Burbank McDonald's is reportedly a transient who often causes disturbances at the restaurant, according to the Burbank Leader.Sgt. Darin Ryburn of the Burbank Police says Baseer, 31, has "a history of run-ins with the law." The manager of the fast food restaurant attests Baseer is familiar to him, and that she frequently solicits money from the customers.
However, in the January 11 McNuggets incident, the unidentified restaurant manager explains, Baseer was not opening the doors of customers in the drive-thru, but rather made the offer explicitly to the McDonald's manager.
Ryburn elaborates: “She told the manager she was hungry and said that if he gave her Chicken McNuggets, she would perform a sexual favor." Authorities were called to the McDonald's when Baseer did not leave as requested. Ryburn did not disclose further information about her previous run-ins with the law.
Baseer remains in police custody on $2,000 bail.
