Woman Sexually Assaulted in ArcLight Complex Parking Structure

A woman in her twenties was sexually assaulted early Sunday morning in the parking structure that serves the entertainment complex anchored by the ArcLight movie theatres in Hollywood. The Los Angeles Police Department say the victim had been at the complex with friends when at around 3 a.m. she became separated from the group. She was approached by a group of five men who "befriended" her, of which two ultimately sexually assaulted her in a car parked in the lot.
The victim's friends found her inside the structure, and she was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The LAPD say this is an isolated incident, and the community should not be alarmed. They are using all available surveillance footage from the area to help identify the suspects, and have taken the vehicle believed to have been used in the crime as evidence.
