Woman Robbed, Sexually Assaulted and Beaten Near Cedars-Sinai

The Los Angeles Police Department have released details about an attack on a woman who was walking near Cedars-Sinai Hospital last weekend. The incident took place at around 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 30th. The victim was approached by a man with a handgun who ordered her to give over her valuables. He ordered her to go with him to a secluded area nearby, where the suspect beat and sexually assaulted her.
The suspect fled the scene on foot, with the victim's valuables, including money and jewelry. The LAPD describe the suspect as "a Black male with dark hair weighing 180 to 190 pounds. He appears to be 26 to 35 years old and stands 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet 1 inch tall. He was wearing a black, button-down collared shirt, dark pants and a baseball cap with a flat bill."
Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact the LAPD immediately.
