Who shot Jeffrey Tidus? It's the Rolling Hills Estates' contemporary whoodunit akin to TV's "Who shot JR?" plotline. One year after lawyer Jeffrey Tidus was shot and killed in his own driveway, the case continues to confound detectives, according to the Daily Breeze.Tidus was shot in the head the morning of December 7th, 2009, as he retrieved his laptop from his car. He was ambushed by an assailant hiding in the early morning darkness. "
Nobody, from family members to investigators, knows why."

Early in the investigation, detectives explored the possibility that a legal foe may have been behind the murder, but no charges were ever made. To this day, "investigators cannot say whether Tidus was the victim of a random attack, or a targeted hit." As the anniversary of Tidus' killing arrives, his wife, his colleagues, his rabbi, his family, and his community continue to mourn, and wonder who took Tidus' life, and why.
