Teen Gets 30 Years to Life in Prison For Raping Boy With Toy Light Saber
A 19-year-old Riverside man has been sentenced to 30 years to life in state prison for sexually assaulting a 9-year-old boy with a toy light saber, according to KTLA.
Javier Enrique Perez had been found guilty on four felony counts, including "sexual penetration by foreign object by force." The crime took place while a handful of other children ranging in age from 8 to 19 years old watched. Perez assaulted the boy in the kitchen with the light saber by holding him down against the kitchen table. He was also convicted of forcing the 8-year-old to participate in the assault.
When the boy's mother came to pick him up, he told her what happened and she notified the authorities.
