"Twilight" Seduction? HS Student Claims Teacher Said He Looked Like Taylor Lautner, Had Sex With Him in Her Classroom

A Southern California high school student is accusing an English teacher of seducing him and having sex with him in the classroom, and that among her appeals to the minor, she said he resembled "Twilight" star Taylor Lautner. The 17-year-old boy claims the relationship formed while he served as 31-year-old Janel Ramirez's teacher's aide at Hemet High School. A search warrant and affidavit assert the Ramirez "kissed him the last day of his sophomore year" and "later promised they would be together after he graduated," according to the Press-Enterprise.
The teacher and the student's bond allegedly strengthened while he served again as her classroom aide his junior year. Then, their relationship intensified, reports the Press-Enterprise:
"The student said he asked her for help on a school essay last fall. When they were alone in the classroom working on the essay, she kissed him again. The teen said he began making out with Ramirez and she began fondling him, the search warrant states."
The physical interaction allegedly escalated to sexual intercourse, claims the boy, who says when he returned the following day, Ramirez guided him to a chair and performed a sex act on him.
He says they always engaged in the sexual activity in the classroom with the door locked.
The student also claims Ramirez shared with him her unhappiness at home with her husband, and her interest in having an affair. She allegedly mentioned the possibility of her having an affair with another teacher, but the student says she asserted a preference to be with the boy. He noted that Ramirez insisted on monitoring his text messages to ensure he was not telling anyone about their relationship, and that any communication between the two of them was deleted from his phone.
The boy reported the relationship to school district officials on February 29. A search warrant was issued, and Ramirez was arrest the following day at the Hemet Unified School District offices.
Ramirez has not been charged, however, and was released on bond. "Riverside County prosecutors are still reviewing the case and said they have no deadline to file charges," notes the Press-Enterprise, adding that HUSD officials have not indicated if Ramirez has been placed on leave.
