Mexican authorities looking into the death of Monica Beresford-Redman, the owner of Zabumba Bar & Restaurant on Venice Blvd., say her husband's story is not adding up. There are "several holes" in "Survivor" and "Pimp My Ride" Producer Bruce Beresford-Redman's story, says KNX1070, and the LA Times says the timeline "provided about his wife's disappearance appeared to clash with those of some witnesses."

Bruce is listed as a "person of interest" in the case after investigators questioned and released him Friday. Monica apparently disappeared Monday and was reported missing on Tuesday. Her body was found on Thursday. The cause of death was listed as strangulation, but she had suffered head injuries. The couple was in Cancun to revive their marriage.
