The LAPD release information regarding a suspect in the case of a robbery-murder that took place on June 24th at Higher Path Holistic Care, a medical marijuana dispensary in Echo Park. During the course of the robbery, the three suspects ransacked the business, and shot Matthew Butcher, an employee, and the store's security guard. Butcher died on scene, however the security guard, whose name is being withheld, is recovering from his injuries.

Last month, the LAPD arrested and charged 31-year-old Daniel "Scooter" Hinton for his role in the crime, but are now seeking the public's help to locate 27-year-old Raymond Lemone Easter. Yesterday Easter was charged with murder and attempted murder (with the special circumstance of murder during the commission of a burglary) and is currently being sought by police.

A $50,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the remaining suspects, as established by Councilman Ed Reyes.
