A Metro bus driver was injured on the job last night when someone shot at her bus with a pellet or BB gun, according to ABC7. The incident happened at around 10:30 Wednesday night as the bus was at Vernon Avenue at Figueroa Street in Exposition Park. The suspect shot at the bus from the outside. The driver was struck in her finger, and treated on-scene for her injuries. Two of the bus windows were shattered, however no passengers were injured. The suspect remains at large, and the authorities are hoping the public can help them track down the perp. Investigators with the LA County Sheriff's Department, who handle law enforcement for Metro, say the shots were fired from the north side of Vernon Avenue, according to CBS2.
