Male Nurse Accused of Sexually Violating a Corpse at Local Hospital

A man employed as a nurse has been arrested on suspicion he committed a sex act on a corpse at a local hospital.The suspect is 61-year-old Alejandro Razo of Reseda, who was initially held by security guards at a Sherman Oaks hospital where he works, according to CBS2.
Officers were called to scene following a report from the hospital indicating a deceased patient had been sexually violated by the suspect, says the Los Angeles Police Department.
Razo was arrested, and has been released on bail. He is due in court in Van Nuys on February 11, arrest records indicate, according to City News Service.
"The L.A. County coroner will perform an autopsy on the body, said Sgt. Ammon Williams of the Los Angeles Police Department," reports L.A. Now.
If convicted for necrophilia, Razo could face up to three years in prison.
According to CBS2, who spoke with Razo's neighbor, the suspect is a married man with two children, and is described as being "a quiet man."
Authorities are investigating to determine if there have been other victims.
