Lohan Out of Jail on $300,000 Bail

Lindsay Lohan spent less than a day in jail after being sent there Friday by a Beverly Hills judge for failing a drug test. The 24-year-old actress was set free late last night after posting $300,000 bail, according to KTLA.Though sentenced to spend 30 days in jail without bail by Judge Elden Fox, a second judge overruled the order. Lohan's release, however, comes with several conditions, including having to wear an alcohol-monitoring bracelet.
"Other conditions require Lohan Lohan from possessing any controlled substances," and she "must refrain from drinking and must stay out of places where alcohol is primarily sold."
Fox's strict sentencing raised eyebrows, including those in the cyclists' advocacy community, who pointed out that Lohan's sentence was far harsher than one Fox gave to a drunk hit-and-run driver who rendered a bicyclist disabled.
