Lindsay Lohan's Latest Role: Jewelry Thief?
Actress Lindsay Lohan has managed to find herself the (unwitting?) center of a Los Angeles Police Department investigation regarding the theft of what they call "a one of a kind necklace," worth $2,500 which was taken from a Venice jewelry store.
The necklace was taken on January 22, and surveillance video from the store shows Lohan with the necklace as she shopped with friends.
Yesterday, the LAPD's Paciifc Area detectives obtained a search warrant for the actress' Venice residence. However, before the warrant could be executed, the necklace was returned to the station.
Lohan denies she had any involvement in the theft. "It's bulls**t ... I don't have any necklace,"TMZ reports Lohan saying to her friends, adding that the recently out-of-rehab starlet "claims the person who filed the police report against her is 'nuts.'"
