Lindsay Lohan Could Get 8 Months in Jail, City Attorney Rumored to Be 'out for blood'

Actress Lindsay Lohan is due to be arraigned Wednesday in Los Angeles, at which time she is likely to have her probation revoked. Lohan could potentially be sentenced to up to eight months in jail--that's "245 days in the slammer," as TMZ points out.Lohan is back in court because she is suspected of lying to authorities about being behind the wheel during the accident early this summer. That constitutes a violation of her probation in the jewelry heist case. The judge is expected to revoke her probation, then "set a date for a hearing to formally decide if Lindsay violated the terms of her probation by breaking the law again."

That hearing is going to take place at the same time the troubled starlet stands trial on criminal charges for the car accident case. (It's hard to keep up with all the legal hot water the onetime child star has gotten herself into in recent years.) As a bonus, Lohan came off a few weeks of claiming things were great by getting into trouble in New York, giving her the distinction of facing four charges in one day on two coasts. Kudos, girl!

TMZ's moles tell the gossip site the L.A. City Attorney is "out for blood" when it comes to Lohan. So maybe this time she will get a punishment that she is made to stick to, and not weasel around.

Speaking of attorneys, Lohan might have some issues paying for hers, since last week the IRS seized her bank accounts, saying the star owed $233,000 in back taxes.
