A tip provided to narcotics detectives at the Los Angeles Police Department's Foothill division prompted officers to raid a Sylmar home early this morning, seizing weapons and stolen property, and busting a methamphetamine lab operation, according to LA Now.

The SWAT team and the bomb squad were called in to assist with the take-down, which happened at a house on the 13700 block of Polk Street. Nine people were inside the property, which has been evacuated as the authorities address the scene. One person has been arrested "on narcotics and weapons charges." Officers have "seized a rifle, a silencer and a stolen car," so far.
