A standoff at a Hollywood apartment building lasting about four hours came to an end shortly after 7 this morning with a homicide suspect taken into custody, according to LA Now. The suspect, a man whose identity has not been released, barricaded himself inside the building located in the 6500 block of Hollywood Boulevard.Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department arrived on scene at around 3 a.m. in response to a call regarding gunfire, and found a "woman in her mid-20s shot to death in the hallway."
