A 32-year-old man was struck and killed early this morning while riding his bicycle. The Los Angeles Police Department say they are seeking the public's help to find the motorist who rear-ended the rider on his bicycle, and then fled the scene.

The incident took place at around 2:25 this morning on Vista Del Mar south of Hyperion Way, near Dockweiler State Beach. The bicyclist, whose identity has not been released, was traveling northbound on Vista Del Mar; he was struck by an unknown motorist headed in the same direction on the road. The Los Angeles Fire Department pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
