Burbank Middle School Teacher Arrested for Having Sex With Student

33-year-old Amy Beck teaches English and social science at Burbank's David Starr Jordan Middle School, but now faces charges for having sex with one of her students, according to KFWB. Beck surrendered to the Burbank PD on Monday and is due "to be arraigned Wednesday on four counts of unlawful sex with a person under 16, and one count of oral copulation with a person under 16."
The married mother of three allegedly engaged in sexual activity with a boy who was 14 at the time; in a police interview the student confirmed the relations took place between March and September of last year. Beck "faces up to seven years in prison if convicted of all charges."
