Big Bear Beer Heist Ends in Bust
A beer heist at a Big Bear gas station ended in a bust, with five teen snowboarders, including four from LA County, arrested for their role in the robbery, according to LA Now. "It’s a beer run that turned semi-violent,” explained a spokeswoman for the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. One of the teen suspects punched the clerk in the face when he tried to halt the crime. The teens fled in a vehicle, but were spotted by a Sheriff's helicopter, then stopped by the California Highway Patrol. All five suspects are 18 years old.
