3 Bicyclists Struck By Alleged DUI Motorist Who Fled the Scene
Three bicyclists were struck and injured by a motorist who was allegedly driving under the influence in Seal Beach Saturday morning.
The driver, a 46-year-old woman from Anchorage, Alaska, initially fled the scene near Pacific Coast Highway west of Anderson Street, according to Sgt. John Scott of the Seal Beach Police Department, reports L.A. Now.
Juli Ann Brown was ultimately apprehended as she drove in nearby Huntington Beach, and booked "on suspicion of felony hit and run causing injury, felony driving under the influence and multiple narcotics violations." Brown has since been transferred to Orange County Jail.
