2 Kids Found Dead In OC Hotel Room

A grisly crime is unfolding in Santa Ana following the attempted suicide of a woman who revealed to authorities there were two dead children inside an area hotel room.
The unidentified woman tried to take her own life by crashing her car into poles at an electrical vault, according to City News Service. Costa Mesa police Sgt. Tim Starn tells the OC Register the vehicle was a sedan with Georgia plates.
Stern adds that the woman was very "feisty."
The woman told responding authorities about the children in the Santa Ana hotel room.
Police found the deceased children inside a room at the Hampton Inn & Suites. They did not release details about the children's ages, nor the relationship between the woman and the children.
According to authorities, there was no weapon found at the murder scene.
