Firefighters continue to battle the brush fire that is burning in the hills adjacent to the Getty Center, though they are limited to working from the air due to the terrain.
Evacuations continue as employees and visitors are being sent down the hill.

*UPDATE: 1:59 p.m. Evacuations are underway "as a precautionary measure" at Mt. St. Mary's College, which is about a mile away from the Getty. Meanwhile, employees and patrons of the Getty are being sent down the hill via tram in "an orderly fashion." The size of the fire is now estimated at 30-40 acres, according to a live on-air report from KTLA.
